Cynthia Gordon, President

Cynthia is the owner and principal of MedAnimations, specializing in easily understood computer animations and illustrations, for use in patient education and advertising. With years of fine arts training and experience, she is a highly skilled medical illustrator and graphic artist, who specializes in developing original, engaging images in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and lively animations in Flash. As President of OCMMA, Cynthia hopes to support current activities, and to provide an impetus for growth through new programs and expanded outreach into the multimedia community in Orange County. She is also the Manager of the Adobe Creative Suite - Orange County User Group.

Bonnie Erdrich, Vice-President

Bonnie Erdrich is a multi-media artist specializing in video editing, animation and special effects. A principal in Team Video & Animation, she delights in creating "Celebration Animation", producing one-of-a-kind animated paintings used to unveil a traditional painting for a person being honored at a celebration. She edits and animates her own computer illustrations as well as the beautiful portraits, caricatures and illustrations of Terry Syndergaard.

Terry Syndergaard, Secretary

Terry Syndergaard is a multi-media artist — from traditional to digital. When not illustrating books, he is an animator, video editor and special effects guy. A principal in Team Video & Animation, his painted caricatures utilize time-lapse video to create entertainment for DVDs, corporate retirement gifts, TV commercials and film. Terry resides in Southern California, delighted with technology that allows him to work with clients all over the world.

Art Kirsch, Treasurer

Art is a producer of shorts and commercials and a fierce proponent of the entertainment arts industry in Orange and surrounding counties.  For some thirty years he was involved in all aspects of the computer graphics industry representing both software and hardware companies.  He has served in various executive positions including VP Sales & Marketing, CFO, and President and specialized in building and fixing companies throughout the world.  Art is the founder of a public service organization, OCShowbiz and is currently re-writing its website to better serve our entertainment arts community. He made a proposal to convert the Tustin Helicopter base into a teaching studio.  He also serves on the boards of Media Alliance of Orange County, OC Screenwriters Assoc, and Media Communications Assoc Intl OC/LA, also as treasurer.  Art also served as an elected school board member in Merrick, NY for nine years.  Art can be reached at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Bill Lang

Bill is currently assisting the OCMMA Treasurer and providing videography services at special events. After a 32-year career in System Engineering and Program Management at Hughes Aircraft, Bill retired, and then went on to teach "Principles of Management" and "Business Strategy" at California State University Fullerton (CSUF). After retiring from his teaching position, Bill started Digital Imaging Concepts as a home-based business in 1998. In the beginning Bill focused on enhancing vacation photos and restoring old photographs with the slogan “We rescue your treasured memories”.

Since that time Bill has broadened his business focus to include all aspects of Photo/Video editing and Video production. His present emphasis is on Promotional Video for Web sites and Video Biography. The Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce selected Digital Imaging Concepts as the Business of the month for February, 2010.

Mike McGready

Mike owns Album of Life Video Studios which excels at producing cinematic video works-of-art that capture the essence of events, performances, corporate training, etc. Mike is also a skilled web programmer with a long history of website creation and design. His current focus is creating or adapting websites to look and perform wonderfully on smart phones and tablets. "Priceless Treasures Pleasantly Affordable" is his company's tagline. He is the Manager of Web – Video Crossroads (Adobe User Group), Board Member of the Orange County MultiMedia Association, and a Board Member at Large of the Professional Videographers Network. Mike also serves on the Orange County Digital Media Advisory Committee and plays the same role for Chaffey College Broadcasting and Cinema.

Caprice de Lorm

Caprice has been heavily involved with OCMMA for several years. She is currently the Co-Manager of the OC Flash (Adobe User Group). Her business, de Lorm Designs, specializes in delivering "outside of the box" marketing solutions to its clients. Services include electronic and print marketing collateral creation, website design and maintenance, and content development and editing services. "We approach our client projects from a strategic perspective, aligning their business goals with a consistent marketing brand." She is providing website and collateral creation services to the Anaheim Film Festival & Media Arts Expo, promoting its November 14-18, 2012 inaugural event which honors and celebrates Film and its artists from all across America and around the world.

Jeff Gomes

Jeff Gomes

Jeff Gomes has returned to the OCMMA Board after a 14 year hiatus. He is known for generously sharing his knowledge as an interactive multimedia programmer of unequaled skill. His company, Multi-Media Magic, is currently focused on code-intensive interactive development, using Flex, AIR, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, Lingo, etc. He recently took on the role of Manager of OC Flash, an official Adobe User Group sponsored by OCMMA.

Virginia Houts


Virginia Houts is an independent E-Learning professional. She has an MBA in Business from Pepperdine University as well as a BS in Mathematics and an MA in Education from Santa Clara University and Stanford, respectively.

Virginia has been active within OCMMA for several years and currently serves as Co-Manager of the Creative Suite User Group.

Ivan Taylor

Ivan Taylor

Ivan Taylor is the owner of The Creative Edge which focuses on video editing, presentation coaching and web design. He frequently uses his presentation talents to educate and inspire the members of the Web – Video Crossroads (Adobe User Group) where he is the Co-Manager.

Dolores Jenerson-Madden

Dolores Jenerson-Madden

Dolores Jenerson-Madden has participated in OCMMA meetings for a while and was asked to join the Board this year. Dolores is an Apple Pro Certified Trainer for Final Cut Pro, and an Apple Certified Pro for Motion and Soundtrack Pro. She is an Adjunct Instructor at Fullerton College teaching Digital Video Editing. In July 2011 she started a FCP X Blog.

Her interests include editing, motion graphics and sound design. She is in the process of updating her web design certificate and learning the complexities of HTML5, especially as it relates to video.

Creative Suite User Group

The Creative Suite User Group provides educational presentations organized around applications in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and more. The Creative Suite User Group meets jointly with the General Meeting of OCMMA every third Tuesday of the month. Visit the Creative Suite User Group page.

Web Video Crossroads

The Web Video Crossroads User Group addresses all aspects of video on the web and mobile devices. Web designers, web developers, and video/audio producers are welcome to discuss the latest developments in this fast-changing industry.
